Financial support for North Carolina families raising children with disabilities
ESA+ scholarship funds help families pay for education and services for children with disabilities—including certain qualifying developmental and educational supports.

The Education Student Accounts (ESA+) program helps North Carolina families pay for education and services for children with disabilities. For many families, developmental evaluations, educational therapy, tutoring, and related supports are essential—but navigating payment options can feel overwhelming.
NeuroKids Developmental Pediatrics is an enrolled ESA+ provider and is approved to accept ESA+ scholarship funds. We want families to understand how the program works, what may qualify, and how to plan thoughtfully before committing to services.

For questions about eligibility, allowable purchases, or reimbursement, families are encouraged to contact ESA@ncseaa.edu for guidance directly from the State Education Assistance Authority.
We recommend confirming whether a specific NeuroKids service qualifies under current ESA+ rules before scheduling, so families can make informed financial decisions with confidence.
