Clarity Through Evaluation

Our comprehensive evaluations go beyond a label to understand your child's unique strengths and challenges, early signs of neurodiversity including ADHD and autism, and any other delays or disabilities your child may have. We want to intervene early and support your family by providing evaluations in your community to address all concerns, big and small, for children and young adults ages 0–26.

Support Through Advocacy

We don't just provide a diagnosis and send you on your way. We partner with you to navigate school supports, therapy referrals, and daily life—whether your concerns involve ADHD, autism, developmental delays, learning differences, or other behavioral health needs.

Access Through Connection

We are dedicated to improving access to care across North Carolina. By moving away from traditional medical silos, we provide a direct line between our expertise and your family's needs through coordinated healthcare software solutions.

About Dr. Rohan Patel

While Dr. Rohan Patel's UGA Bulldog spirit (Go Dawgs!) drives his pursuit of excellence, his heart is firmly planted here in North Carolina. His clinical foundation was built through pediatric residency training at the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta and a specialized fellowship in developmental-behavioral pediatrics at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

His background includes years of experience within several large academic and clinical institutions. Those roles allowed him to train the next generation of doctors and lead research on how technology can improve child health, but they also showed him how easily families can get lost in the gaps of a rigid system.

He chose to move away from those institutional "silos" to focus on improving access to care through a more direct, personalized model. Here, you aren't just another patient in a system; you are a family in the practice's community. Dr. Rohan Patel is dedicated to providing North Carolina families with a direct line to specialized expertise, delivered with the neighborly touch you deserve.

Is the practice open to new patients?

Yes, we are currently accepting new patients and also provide ongoing care as needed with patient intake forms, secure online intake forms, and early intervention services referrals when appropriate.

Do you help with school and IEP/504 planning?

Yes. We provide practical recommendations and guidance families can use with schools.

What insurance do you take?

We are not currently credentialed with insurance. Our services operate on a direct-pay model so we can keep care personalized and transparent.

Do you offer therapy services?

We do not currently offer direct therapy services; however, if therapy is part of our recommended plan for your child, we will actively help you navigate referrals and connect you with the right resources.

I have therapists and professionals who have been supporting me and my child. Do you work with them?

Absolutely - we would love to collaborate with your existing team and fully recognize the expertise and dedication they bring to your child's care. One of our core goals is to support parental agency. At NeuroKids, we believe parents know their children best, and we are committed to empowering families to make informed decisions about their child's care.
